Unlike DCJ, LegalAid NSW opted to expand its safety capabilities by implementing two additional modules:

This decision reflected a forward-thinking, proactive approach to workplace safety. These modules allowed LegalAid to manage workplace risks more comprehensively and implement initiatives such as ergonomic assessments, home visit risk reviews, and safe driving checks.
Crucially, the starting point for these modules was SafetySuite’s preconfigured template. By building on a proven foundation, LegalAid was able to deploy advanced features quickly while maintaining alignment with whole-of-government best practice.

To address privacy concerns, SafetySuite deployed a dedicated instance for LegalAid. While maintaining ~98% alignment with DCJ’s configuration, this ensured:

In early 2025, LegalAid NSW embarked on a digital transformation journey to modernise its workplace health, safety, and injury management systems. This initiative was part of a broader whole-of-government strategy to align departments with the centralised HR platform, MyWorkZone, an SAP-based system managed by Accenture.
